Digital Giving FAQs
The tool supports your decision to faithfully give to the work God has for Riverside.
What is the benefit in Digital Giving?
What is the benefit for Riverside?Regular giving helps us plan what ministry activities we can support and fosters effective stewardship.
Is it safe?
We use the strongest level of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption supported by web standards. You may verify this by clicking on the lock or key icon displayed in most browsers when you are on an https page.
May I make a one-time donation?Yes, use the tool whenever, however, you'd like. It’s your decision.
How often do I have to make a recurring donation? You select the start date and how often you want to give.
What if I get paid on the 15th and 30th, how do I set up a recurring gift?If you find that the selections of "weekly" and "every two weeks" don't match up with your regular pay schedule, you can use the "monthly" option and set up two regular recurring gifts: one on the 15th day of the month and one on the 31st day of the month. Be aware if a month has only 28, 29, or 30 days, your gift may not post until the 1st.
What if I want to increase or change my giving? You can modify your recurring gifts at any time. If you are using The Current, log in and click on the little red stop sign in "My Repeating Gifts." You can then modify your giving by clicking on the green "give" button at the bottom of the page and following the instructions there.
If you are not using The Current, you can manage your account using your mobile devise via the Riverside APP, the kiosks in the church, or by logging in here.
How will I know the transaction occurred? You receive an email confirmation after the transaction occurs. All donations will also appear on your Giving Statement, which you can access at any time through your profile in The Current, and which are also mailed out regularly.
What if I change my mind? You may cancel Digital Giving at any time.
