Who is Riverside Church?

Riverside Church is a growing and vibrant church utilizing multi-site ministry. We embrace an outward focused vision of reaching people for Jesus by strategically leaning toward an attractional model of ministry. It's all about relationship; most importantly with Jesus, but also in community with others. We are passionate about three key ideas:  providing teaching, music and environments which are REAL and RELEVANT to our people and our culture, helping people experience LIFE CHANGE, and giving people opportunity to take OWNERSHIP of their faith.

Community Information

Riverside Church is headquartered in the outer belt of communities surrounding the Twin Cities metro area off of I-94 to the west. An accurate classification of our area would be that the main communities of Big Lake, Monticello, and Becker (plus a host of other cities) are exurban in nature. Distinct from "suburban", our local culture has it all... White Collar, Blue Collar, Agriculture, etc. We also have a campus in Sauk Rapids, MN.

riverside students (RS) Admin Assistant

Part time position (25+ hours/week)

We are looking for an organized and detailed person with good people skills to provide direct support to the RS Pastor, perform administrative tasks and work with teams to support the Riverside Students ministry in a growing multisite church. The position is a part of a strong team that works together on weekly ministry, special events and support projects. Qualified applicants must have experience tracking data, managing multiple priorities, coordinating events, and communicating with a varied audience.

Desired Administrative skill set:

-Capability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
-High attention to detail
-Excellent oral & written communication
-Ability to learn and adapt to changing priorties
-Working competency of Microsoft Office
-Familiarity with Excel, Adobe or Church Community Builder and social media platforms is helpful
-Experience helping recruit and train volunteer teams

Candidate must have a strong personal commitment to Jesus Christ as evidenced in lifestyle, personal relationships, commitment to the church and work ethic.  They must also demonstrate spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for leadership and worship, and have a passion to embrace and partner with Riverside’s mission and vision for reaching the lost.
