Your Story Really Matters

“A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.”

Friendship is something so valuable it's hard to quantify.  Sharing your good times with friends definitely multiplies your joy, but it's when you are traveling through hard circumstances, difficult challenges, or confusing life choices that those relationships often become the most important.  Being known and cared for by others who understand who you are and what chapter you are writing in your story can be the bedrock which anchors you, as well as the encouragement which propels you forward.

Jesus knew and understood this about us.  In John 15:15 He tells us, "I speak to you as my friends."  When people interacted with Him, even when their situation was one demanding change, the first thing they noticed was His understanding and care for them in their circumstances.  He was real; He desired first and foremost a relationship which would allow people to experience His love and understand His heart for them.

He wants that for you, too.  Your story really matters and He wants to help you write it.  No matter what your history, where you're starting, or what your struggles might be, now is a perfect time to be reminded of God's great love for you.  Whether in person or online, we hope you'll connect with this new series where we'll learn more about how REAL and RELEVANT Jesus was not only when He walked the earth, but also how His presence and partnership with people now is still impacting and changing lives in unique and personal ways every day.

StaySafeMN Guidance on Reopening Faith Based Houses of Worship, Phase 3:

"As of July 25, 2020, people in Minnesota are required to wear a face covering in all public indoor spaces and businesses, per Executive Order 20-81. Additionally, the Executive Order requires workers to wear a face covering when working outdoors in situations where social distancing cannot be maintained. The Executive Order includes exemptions for people who are unable to wear or tolerate a face covering due to medical or mental health conditions or other reasons. There are also situations in which a face covering may be temporarily removed, such as when eating or drinking, provided that social distancing is maintained between members of different parties."

Under the Governor’s Executive Order, we are not allowed to ask our guests to explain the nature of their medical or mental health conditions or other reasons for an exemption that a guest may have.
